Meet Coach BobbyG

Many hats. One Passion!

Educational Consultant/Trainer

School Success, Personal Development
Early in Coach BobbyG’s teaching career, he learned two crucial lessons: Successful teachers ask; “How can I excite my students about learning?”  and: Successful administrators ask a similar question; “How can I excite my teachers about teaching?”

Griffiths wants teachers to be excited about teaching (again).  To do this, he shares research-based, results-driven classroom management strategies which will raise your scores, reduce office referrals and most importantly, rejuvenate and restore tired teachers in a way that brings a palpable positive vibe to your school site.

If you want a professional development which your newly (re)energized team will thank you for, contact BobbyG.

Vegan Athlete/Fitness Pro

Personal & Corporate Wellness, Vegan Fitness
For most of his life, Coach BobbyG has enjoyed sports and fitness.  In high school he played basketball and ran track.  In college it was basketball, volleyball.  He’s also coached at the collegiate level.

Fast forward 20 years, Griffiths returned to sport as a vegan Masters/Senior sprinter.  He’s a 3x qualifier for the National Senior Games and 2x qualifier for the National State Games.  He knows what it’s like to overcome injury or push through depression in order to return to a competitive level.

In order to help others experience a renewed sense of vitality, Griffiths became a Certified Wellness Coach.  In that role, he focuses his efforts on Senior (50+) athletes and on helping those who suffer from COPD.

Multi-cultural Performing Artist

School Assemblies, Concerts, Corporate Retreats
Music has been a major part of Bob’s life.  At 6, he started piano lessons and at 12, he taught himself guitar.  And it was the guitar that facilitated his ability to lead music in church, at school and to tour nationally.  As a kid, he’d hear the festive melodies of his native Jamaican music or southern gospel playing in the house.

In 1989, Bob began to share is West Indian culture through music as JamaicaBob. He formed Jazz Caribe where he combined his fun-loving nature of Harry Belatonte’s calypsos with a passion for the jazz guitar stylings of George Benson.  Later he added Calypso for Kids so he could share culture and encourage schoolchildren.  To date, JamaicaBob has toured in 18 states and for more than 100,000 students.

In 2015, he partnered with leading speakers and trainers to form a “Caribbean Staycation Retreat” for corporations and leadership teams wanting a unique experience for their annual leadership gathering without the budget needed to fly the entire team to the Caribbean.
